Installation Guide for macOS
✅ Apple Notarized: BUILDPRAX MEASURE PRO for macOS is notarized and stapled by Apple.
Quick Installation (Recommended)
Step 1: Download and Open
After downloading, locate the Buildprax Measure Pro disk image in your Downloads folder.
Step 2: Open the DMG
Double-click the DMG file to open the installer window.
Step 3: Install to Applications
Double-click the DMG file to mount it, then drag "BUILDPRAX MEASURE PRO" to your Applications folder.
Step 4: Launch the App
Open Applications, then start BUILDPRAX MEASURE PRO.
Step 5: Start Measuring
Create a project, load your drawings, and begin measurements immediately.
✅ Success! The app should now open normally. You'll only need to do this once.
Troubleshooting
App does not launch
Confirm the app is installed in Applications and restart your Mac once.
Download interrupted
Re-download the latest DMG from buildprax.com and install again.
System Requirements
- macOS: 10.15 (Catalina) or later
- RAM: 4GB minimum, 8GB recommended
- Storage: 200MB free space
- Architecture: Apple Silicon (M1/M2/M3) or Intel
Getting Started
- Launch the app from your Applications folder
- Create a new project using the "New Project" button
- Upload a PDF drawing using "Upload Drawing"
- Set the scale by clicking "Set Scale" and measuring a known distance
- Start measuring using Length, Area, or Count tools
- Export to Excel when finished
